The Punta de Europa Hospital renews its facilities with Grupsa doors
The Andalusian Health Service (SAS) has undertaken a complete renovation of the Punta de Europa Hospital, located in Algeciras (Cádiz). This health center is the reference hospital of the Campo de Gibraltar Health Management Area, in charge of hospital management in the East of the province of Cádiz, covering more than 250,000 people and one of the most complete hospitals in Andalusia.
The Junta de Andalucía has started the work to reform this hospital (built in 1978) with the reform of the Obstetrics and Delivery Services area, with an investment of more than 2 million euros.
Following the criteria of the architects and technical teams of the Junta de Andalucía and with their special collaboration, Grupsa has supplied and installed the access doors to the surgical area: Automatic Hermetic Sliding Doors (according to model HS-201/45) and Swing Doors ( HS-402B), finished in white antibacterial HPL, in accordance with the most demanding European regulations regarding the control of positive and negative differential in operating rooms and critical patient units.
Furthermore, Grupsa’s Hermetic Doors with AG90 operator are activated by touchless sensors without contact. The safety for the user confirmed according to the UNE 16005 standard, which allows the safe and reliable passage of health personnel, bedridden patients and the necessary medical equipment. Grupsa HS-201/45 hermetic automatic doors have European certificates according to UNE EN 12207 Class 4 and EN 12426 Class 6, with acoustic insulation UNE-EN ISO 717-1, they are the certified solution for those facilities that require quality proven to guarantee durability and reliability performance in pathogen control environments.
