Grupsa, “Automatic Doors System”, has just reached a Cooperation Agreement with the Iranian manufacturer and distributor of pedestrian doors, Proshutdoor, one of the most important contenders in the Middle East (Iran, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, etc.). Both corporations closed this agreement at the Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Spanish Embassy in Teheran (Iran), between Proshutdoor President, Mohammed Hassan Halavi, and the Grupsa representatives, Antonio Cabezas, Technical Director, and Juan Enrique Pló, GCC and Middle East Area Manager Export.

Proshutdoor is considered as one of the largest Automatic Doors distributor companies in central Asia, based in Iran and with commercial representation in many others countries, as Azerbaijan, Georgia and Germany.

Grupsa will contribute to this alliance with its international experience and its technology in the Rotary and Sliding Automatic Doors System market, and through this agreement with Grupsa, Proshutdoor will entry in the business of integral solutions by Screen to Massive Transportation System. The proof has been the achievement of the project of Mashhad underground enlargement (line 1), the Iran’s second city with more than three million people. Grupsa will develop the PSD (Platform Screen Doors) for whole line, and together with Proshutdoor, the Automatic Doors’ structures and technology, according on railway international standards. Both companies are already working in several projects of this market in the area.

The recent agreement signed between Grupsa and Proshutdoor will emphasize the Grupsa expansion strategy in Asiatic market in this year 2017, when GRUPSA is celebrating 50 years; and it will help to raise up the business expectations not only in Iran, but also in other countries where Iranian corporation is running actively.

Due BRT technology (Bus Rapid Transit), where Grupsa is international leader with systems deployed in Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Panama, Honduras, Peru and Mexico, will enable both companies competing in a growing market in Iran.
